Benefits Administration

Benefits administration manages enrolment, eligibility, records, contributions and changes for employee benefits. It connects employees, HR, payroll and benefit providers.

Example

An administrator enrols an eligible new employee in a health plan, confirms dependent details and checks that the payroll deduction matches the selected cover.

What to keep in mind

Benefit information can be sensitive and errors can affect coverage. Use secure records, reconcile provider data and explain deadlines for changes such as adding a dependent or ending participation.
