Labour Court

A labour court is a judicial or specialist body dealing with employment or industrial matters under the relevant legal system. Its jurisdiction and available remedies depend on the governing legislation.

Example

A worker or representative seeks resolution through the body authorised to hear a particular employment dispute after considering the required preliminary steps.

What to keep in mind

The name does not imply identical powers in every country or period. Check the current forum, jurisdiction and filing process, especially where legislation has changed the structure of labour dispute resolution.
