Offer Acceptance Rate

Offer acceptance rate is the proportion of job offers accepted during a defined period or cohort. It is calculated as accepted offers divided by offers included in the measure, multiplied by 100.

Example

If 12 of 15 completed offers are accepted, the acceptance rate is 80%. Pending offers are handled separately under the stated reporting method.

What to keep in mind

Specify treatment of revised, withdrawn and pending offers. A low rate may reflect pay, timing, role expectations or competing opportunities, so investigate candidate feedback before choosing a response.
