Resume Parsing

Resume parsing extracts information from a CV or resume into structured fields, such as employment history, education and skills. It helps recruitment systems organise and search applicant records.

Example

A system reads an uploaded CV and fills candidate-profile fields with employer names, job titles and employment dates for the applicant to check.

What to keep in mind

Parsing can misread layouts, dates or headings. Allow corrections and avoid rejecting applicants solely because extraction failed, especially when the original document contains the required information.
