Returnship Program

A returnship program supports people re-entering work after a career break through a structured placement, learning and supervision. Some programmes may lead to ongoing employment.

Example

A professional returning after several years away joins a supported placement that refreshes technical skills and provides current work experience.

What to keep in mind

Do not assume a career break means lost capability or reduced commitment. Explain pay, duration, selection and whether permanent employment is possible without presenting it as guaranteed.
