Learning · HR glossary

Corporate Learning

Corporate learning is the organised development of knowledge and skills within an employer. It can serve immediate job needs, professional growth, compliance or longer-term organisational capability.

Example

A company offers product training for sales staff, required safety instruction for warehouse workers and development assignments for potential team leaders.

What to keep in mind

Different needs require different methods and evidence. Mandatory completion records may establish attendance, while complex skills usually need practice and assessment in a realistic working context.
