Digital Learning

Digital learning uses electronic technology to support learning, such as online courses, virtual classrooms, simulations or mobile resources. It can be self-paced, instructor-led or part of a blended approach.

Example

Employees practise a software task in an online simulation and attend a live session to discuss the errors they found difficult to resolve.

What to keep in mind

Check device access, bandwidth and accessibility before choosing a format. Putting a long document online does not automatically make it easier to understand or apply at work.
