ESG in HR

ESG in HR connects workforce practices with environmental, social and governance considerations. Relevant topics can include labour conditions, diversity, safety, ethics and the quality of workforce disclosures.

Example

An organisation reviews safety performance, pay practices and workforce reporting controls as part of its wider sustainability and governance reporting.

What to keep in mind

Use clear definitions and reliable evidence. ESG reporting frameworks differ, and a high-level statement about valuing people does not demonstrate that employment practices meet a particular standard.
