Internship Hiring

Internship hiring selects people for time-limited work experiences intended to combine practical contribution with learning. Employment status, pay and legal requirements depend on the arrangement and location.

Example

An employer recruits an intern for a defined project, assigns a supervisor and sets learning objectives alongside realistic deliverables.

What to keep in mind

Calling a role an internship does not determine whether it can be unpaid. Check local requirements and avoid using a learning label to replace regular paid work without appropriate protections.
