Workforce Demand Analysis

Workforce demand analysis estimates the people, skills and working time needed to deliver expected work. It connects business activity with staffing requirements under explicit assumptions.

Example

A service team converts expected customer volumes into handling hours, then considers service standards and non-delivery time to estimate staffing needs.

What to keep in mind

Demand is not simply the number of roles managers request. Check workload, productivity assumptions and alternatives such as process changes before treating every projected gap as a recruitment requirement.
