Change Management

Change management supports people and operations through a planned organisational change. It includes understanding impacts, involving stakeholders, communicating decisions and helping people adopt new ways of working.

Example

When introducing a payroll system, an employer maps affected tasks, trains users, provides support and monitors whether the new process works after launch.

What to keep in mind

Communication alone is not change management. Address practical barriers, clarify responsibilities and provide feedback routes; a successful technical launch does not establish that the change has been adopted effectively.
