Employer Reputation

Employer reputation is the perception people hold of an organisation as an employer. It develops from direct experiences, word of mouth, public information and how the organisation responds to problems.

Example

Candidates hear consistent reports that an employer gives timely interview feedback, which influences their willingness to apply or recommend the company.

What to keep in mind

Reputation cannot be fully controlled through messaging. Look for recurring themes across credible feedback sources, protect confidentiality and address underlying issues instead of trying to suppress criticism.
