Employer Value Proposition

An employer value proposition describes what an organisation offers people in return for their contribution at work. It can cover pay, development, work design, relationships and purpose.

Example

A small employer presents predictable schedules, access to experienced mentors and clear progression as reasons to join, alongside the salary and benefits offered.

What to keep in mind

The term is often used interchangeably with employee value proposition. Validate the offer with current employees and be specific about which benefits or arrangements apply to each role.
