Managed Service Provider

A managed service provider, or MSP, operates an agreed service on behalf of a client. In contingent staffing, it may coordinate suppliers, assignments, reporting and related processes.

What to keep in mind

Specify the service scope because MSP is used in several industries. Outsourcing coordination does not remove the client's need to oversee quality, legal obligations and conflicts of interest.
