Permanent Staffing

Permanent staffing refers to recruiting people into ongoing roles without a predetermined end date. The employment relationship still remains subject to its terms and applicable termination rules.

Example

A growing business hires a finance officer for an ongoing role rather than limiting the appointment to a particular project or seasonal period.

What to keep in mind

Permanent does not mean employment can never end. Explain probation, notice, working arrangements and benefits clearly, and distinguish an ongoing role from a fixed-term appointment that may later be extended.
