Workforce Modelling

Workforce modelling represents how staffing, skills, costs or employee movements behave under selected assumptions. A model can be a spreadsheet, simulation or more specialised planning application.

Example

A model starts with current headcount, adds planned hires and subtracts expected departures each month to estimate year-end staffing and salary costs.

What to keep in mind

Check units, timing and dependencies. A hire approved in March may not start until June, and the model should not count their full-year capacity or cost without justification.
