Time and Attendance

Time and attendance covers the recording and administration of when employees work or are absent. It supports scheduling, payroll inputs and compliance with applicable working-time requirements.

Example

A system records scheduled shifts, actual clock times and approved leave, then flags differences for a supervisor to review before payroll processing.

What to keep in mind

A clock record is evidence of timing, not a complete measure of work or productivity. Provide correction procedures and handle location or biometric information under appropriate privacy controls.
